​Dr. Bowman was born and raised here in Rexburg, Idaho.  Upon graduation from Madison High School in 2004, he served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Dr. Bowman attended Brigham Young University -Idaho, and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Human Biology, with a minor in Chemistry.  He attended Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry in 2016.

Dr. Bowman and his wife, Ann reside in Rigby, Idaho.  Together, they  have two daughters and one son.  Dr. Bowman deeply enjoys spending time with his family.  In his free time he enjoys playing the drums and piano, rock climbing, skiing, and woodworking.  

Dr. Bowman is constantly seeking to improve and educate himself.  He is often found reading old textbooks and instrument manuals.  He is a teacher at heart, constantly seeking to learn from others and share his knowledge.
