Dr. Thueson & Dr. Bowman always want to provide the utmost care for their patients, and perform comprehensive eye examinations on every patient.  Sometimes patients will ask for a "prescription only", but in order for you to have the best vision possible, our doctors want to be very thorough in caring for your eyes.  Our examinations include:

• A complete eye, medical, & medication history
• Tests and evaluations for glaucoma and macular degeneration.  We are also able to treat and manage these conditions, if necessary 
• Evaluations for cataracts.  While we do not perform cataract surgery in our office, we do offer both pre-op and post-op care, as well as a full optical for glasses after cataract surgery. 
• Retinal Imaging to evaluate eye health (many diseases throughout the body generally manifest first in the eyes).  
• Evaluation of your eye muscles
• Contact Lens fittings & corneal topography, when applicable
• Evaluation of your tears for dry eye and allergies
• Evaluation for LASIK surgery, if desired
• Prescription medication as needed
• A personalized refraction for your best prescription
